Introduction

Mobile drum screen

The Maxx drum screen was built for use in mid to large-sized composting operations. Its rugged construction and high-performance components make it suitable for almost any screen application and it is a professional solution for contracting companies.

Electrically driven variants are available as alternatives: On the “E“ variants, electric motors are used in place of hydraulic drives. Power comes directly from the mains or, when required, is produced by an integrated diesel generator. The electric mode yields a reduction in energy consumption and results in savings in replacement/consumable parts and servicing costs.

Advantages at a glance

  • DRUMGRIP drive with the ruggedness of a chain and the quietness of a friction drive
  • options:
    • drum screen with fixed mesh size
    • flexible system with interchangeable screen segments
    • special drum with anti-soil bars for residual waste screening
  • Maxx integral option: combination of drum screen and compact separator for light contaminants
  • Maxx E: Up to 70% lower energy costs, up to 30% lower servicing costs

Highlights

Low-wear drum drive

The patented DRUMGRIP drive system provides smooth, low-noise, low-wear transmission of the power to the drum. The system adjusts automatically to the required bearing pretension and to the screening drum roundness.

Everything available

A comprehensive range of well-conceived options ensures the fulfilling of virtually all customer requirements. Segment outer scrapers are cleaning a drum with large hole sizes. Wider and longer belts with controllable belt speed are simplify the material discharge. Sturdy tracked chassis. A feed device for trailer eases manoevouring on site and a track drive ensures going on difficult ground.

Maxx E: Costs saving due to electric drive

Alternativer

Power comes directly from the mains or, when required, is produced by an integrated diesel generator.

Saving potential in mains mode resp. generator mode (compared to hydraulic drive:

• up to 75% resp. 25% lower energy consumption

• up to 30% resp. 15% lower consumable parts costs

• up to 25% resp. 5% lower operating costs

Maxx E: Simple operation

Thanks to its fully electronic controller, this drive concept features the highest degree of ease-of-use. The new display mode shows the operating status and all of the functions are clearly visible and easily configurable. An automatic start-up and idling unit simplifies start of operation.
