MULTISTAR XL
Introduction
Mobile star screen
The XL is the Multistar family member with special capabilities. Genetically related to the L3, the XL has two key differentiators. An extended coarse screen increases screening performance for situations where this initial screening step can be the bottleneck, such as when screening fresh biomass.Mobility is provided by mounting as a semi-trailer, allowing for widespread use of this system.
Advantages at a glance
- For large plants and contractors
- Extended coarse screen with straight discharge - optimized for preparation of biomass
- Fully mobile with mounting on a semi-trailer
- Wide range of options for high functionality: windsifter, rolling fraction separator, Fe-separation
Highlights
The one for the big jobs
If high coarse-grain separation performance is what you need, the extra-large screening surface (+25% over the L3) of the coarse screen deck is a big plus. It improves throughput as well as separation accuracy when screening coarsely-shredded biomass. Need things really coarse? The new double-screen stars in the coarse screen enable separation in the 100-150mm range.
Always unclogged thanks to CLEANSTAR
From fine to coarse by the press of a button
Particle size can be controlled by varying the rotation speed of the star shafts. The particle size in the bandwidth specified by the star geometry can be changed within seconds by the control panel with touchscreen and visualisation. A screen section from 8 - 150mm is covered due to different types and arrangement of the stars.
