Introduction
Mobile windsifters
The mobile Hurrikan windsifters allow effective separation of plastic foils out from over-sized screened particles. The patented “pressure-suction” principle guarantees a high degree of selectivity and is adjustable to specific requirements. The quality of the recyclable oversized particles can be improved yet further by using magnet separation and a stone trap.Advantages at a glance

Highlights
Patented "pressure-suction" process
In the first step, material is separated off by a pressure blower. The material flow transported on to the suction blower is made up of screen residual on top of which lightweight materials have deposited. In the second step, the lightweight material is drawn off by a powerful suction blower (Hurrikan S: 2 blower). Configured with rolling fraction separator and magnet drum options, the Hurrikan becomes the perfect cleaner.
High suction performance
A radial blower is used to generate a flow of compressed air. The suction/feed blower has a specially designed blower rotor that guarantees smooth throughput. The blower is foldable upwards for servicing work, on request a servicing platform makes access easy. The suction performance is adjustable to material by variation of blower speed, blower distance and vent flaps.
Everywhere applicable
The standard design of the windsifter is a central axle trailer (tandem axle on the
S version). A power unit, available as an accessory, lends the windsifter complete independence from the power supply. The wide feed chute allows operation in conjunction with feed conveyor belt width to 1200mm and feed height
of 1950mm to 2250mm.
