The fuel mix has a future
In order to reach the ambitious goals of biomass utilisation, previously unused forest residue in addition to wood chips from logs has to become a component of our fuel mix in the future. Forest residue is the collective name for treetops and branches that accumulates when harvesting timber and for root stocks that accumulate during uprooting.

With the right technology, generally by shredding, screening and separation, a marketable fuel is produced from different input materials.
