MUSTANG
Introduction
Trommel Screen Machine
Continuous performance in tough conditions characterizes the MUSTANG. The MUSTANG’s excellent performance is well suited to address a wide range of applications in large operations where high throughput and screening are required.Rugged, reliable and equipped with modern engine technology and a high level of operator comfort, the MUSTANG meets even the highest demands of customers. A version of the MUSTANG S is available with a higher power rating on request.
Advantages at a glance
- DRUMGRIP drive with the ruggedness of a chain and the quietness of a friction drive
- >6,5 yd³ hopper capacity for continual working, 323 ft² screen area and 1m wide discharge belts (MUSTANG S) for high throughputs
- New: MUSTANG E, SE with electric drive for reduced operating costs
-
options:
- screen drum with fixed hole size
- flexible system with interchangeable screen segments
- special drum with anti-dirt strips for screening residual waste
Highlights
Lots of room in the hopper
The generously dimensioned hopper offers capacity of more than 6,54 yrd³. Steep hopper side walls prevent “bridging” in the hopper. The hopper discharge conveyor is kept permanently in the straight line travel position with an automatic control system. Unintentional emptying of the hopper is prevented by the optional hopper sensor controller.
Simple access to all components
The engine compartment doors provide easy access to all the servicing components. The complete drive unit can also be hydraulically extended. To exchange the drum, the feed hopper is hydraulically moved out of the drum. The drive chain is slackened and removed from the chain wheel. The screen drum can be now hydraulically lifted from the machine using two brackets attached to the side wall.
Mustang E: Costs saving due to electric drive
Power comes directly from the mains or, when required, is produced by an integrated diesel generator.
Saving potential in mains mode resp. generator mode (compared to hydraulic drive:
• up to 75% resp. 25% lower energy consumption
• up to 30% resp. 15% lower consumable parts costs
• up to 25% resp. 5% lower operating costs
Mustang E: Alternative to stationary machines
