The XL is the MULTISTAR family member with special capabilities. Genetically related to the L3, the XL has two key differentiators. An extended coarse screen increases screening performance for situations where this initial screening step can be the bottleneck, such as when screening fresh biomass.

Mobility is provided by mounting as a semi-trailer, allowing for widespread use of this system.

In all other respects the XL can do anything the L3 can. All possible customer requirements can be addressed with wind sifting of the coarse and medium particles, separation of the rolling fraction, magnet separation and other options.
