The fourth issue of our Opportunity magazine is dedicated to global developments in the waste industry and presents our international projects.
On 80 pages, the magazine highlights current topics from our Biogenic division – flexible solutions for biogenic waste – and Industrial division with innovative technologies for industrial waste.
As usual, you will find sections that deal with the major challenges of our time, our responsibility for future generations and the diverse competences of the Komptech Group. Of course, our customers also have their say and report on the various applications of our machines.
Diverse contents
The Lacero 8010 kicks things off. This powerful new high-performance chipper for woody biomass is making a name for itself across Europe. With its impressive throughput and robust construction, it sets new standards in the industry.
A central topic of this issue is our worldwide partnerships. From the US to Brazil to South Korea to Australia, inspiring customer stories show how our technologies enable sustainable solutions in very diverse markets. Whether composting, refuse-derived fuel or electronics waste, our machines are on the job everywhere, saving resources and closing recycling loops.
Research is represented as well. In the “Plastic Free Compost” project we’re working with partners on making high-quality, contaminant-free compost. In addition, as part of ReWaste F an innovative way was found to use the Ballistor to reclaim polypropylene at high purity from mixed waste – a real game-changer in materials recycling.
The magazine also features a look at our service offerings. With hands-on training, digital tools like Komptech GO! and a new, globally oriented spare parts logistics setup in cooperation with Cargo-Partner, we make sure that our customers around the world are well looked after, promptly, flexibly and dependably.

Increased efficiency thanks to new machines
Hallesche Wasser und Stadtwirtschaft GmbH relies on new machines from Komptech for shredding waste wood and green waste. The machines are also used for processing bulky waste and cardboard tubes.
As a full-service provider for the recycling industry, the Styrian company Komptech was naturally represented at IFAT in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management. Numerous customers and interested parties from all over the world visited the stand to find out more about the new “Industrial” division and the new Equalizer product.
