Heavy-duty construction with an overall weight of 40 tonnes makes this high-speed shredder tough enough for the demanding jobs. The massive, over three tonne rotor is the heart of it. On it are 16 wear parts, whose reversibility and carbide coating keep them cutting for a long time.
Size
matters
The feed hopper is sized perfectly for the Lacero’s high throughput. The feed length of 4.2 m and loading height of 2.4 m make loading easy. The hopper is open to the front, and gives excellent intake even on long materials. The walls and height extensions on both sides are very heavy-duty and have no problems standing up to “contact” with loading machines.
Maintenance
made easy
The Lacero offers outstanding maintenance and service access. Integral ladders and maintenance platforms make all work safe and comfortable. At the same time, the cladding reliably protects the shredding and the engine compartment from dirt.
Well
protected
A special cladding design protects important components from dirt and at the same time reduces noise emissions through the well-insulated engine compartment.
Driving
force
Power transmission from engine to belt pulley is by a zero-maintenance, hydraulically operated friction coupling. It doubles as an overload protection and gives soft run-up, and its integrated control electronics reliably protect the power train from damage.
