No end in sight in Craców

Miki Recykling in Craców, Poland is a second-generation family-owned company that was founded 31 years ago. Today Karol Jakubowski guides the company’s fate.

As a recycling operation, Miki collects, sorts, shreds and hauls domestic waste, bulky waste, commercial waste, waste paper and mixed C&D waste, and makes refuse-derived fuels.

The company has grown steadily over the years, and today has a four hectare facility at which about 150 employees process 180,000 tonnes of waste every year. Of this total amount, it shreds about 100,000 tonnes each year with a Komptech Terminator 5000 S e-mobile.

Service-friendliness as deciding factor

In a talk with Komptech, Jakubowski named several reasons for choosing the Terminator 5000 S e-mobile. In addition to the tough construction, there were the lower operating costs than with a diesel machine. The service-friendliness was another deciding factor. “The consulting by Komptech’s partner Bax Construction Machines was very professional and detailed,” says Jakubowski with satisfaction. In the area of service, Miki Recykling can also point to its new workshop for machines and trucks, which the boss is very proud of. Jakubowski is entirely satisfied with the Terminator thus far, and even calls it the “the best machine on the market.” Although it’s the first Komptech machine Jakubowski has, it probably won’t be the last!
