The Terminator xtron exclusively utilises the extremely versatile V-shredding unit. The shredding roller of the V-unit has 16 aggressively shaped roller teeth. They are approx. 40% higher than those of the familiar F shredding unit. This results in an outside diameter of an enormous 1170 mm, which guarantees optimum feed even with materials that are difficult to grasp and at the same time prevents wrapping of the roller. On the counter comb of the V-unit there are 17 counter comb teeth, which massively support the shredding effect thanks to their stepped arrangement.
Adjustable material quality
Thanks to the hydraulically adjustable cutting gap between the counter comb and roller, the degree of shredding can be precisely adjusted to the subsequent process steps. This cutting gap does not change during the shredding process, even with the most difficult materials, thus ensuring homogeneous and consistent material quality.
A comb system (I) is also available as an option. 17 individually insertable comb elements ensure a post-shredding effect, whereby an even finer material grain size can be achieved.
