The Cribus 3800 redefines the term mobile drum screen. Numerous innovations create a machine with the highest level of functionality and cost-effectiveness and at the same time set new benchmarks.

The drive system represents the foundation for the extremely high degree of cost-effectiveness - everything on the Cribus is driven electrically, from the hopper to the discharge belts. This minimizes the energy, wear and servicing costs of the whole machine, supported by the newly developed direct "WHEELGRIP" drum drive.

    With a drum diameter of 2200 mm and an effective screen length of 5500 mm, the Cribus has the largest screen area of its class. The feed cross-section to the drum, the drum diameter itself and the unsurpassed gap to the side walls allow a smooth screening-off process – even with large screen hole size.

    The power for the electrical drives comes directly from the mains or is generated by an integrated diesel generator. Savings (mains operation compared to hydraulic drive):

    Efficient drum drive

    The new drive via friction wheel, as an all-wheel drive with the patented "WHEELGRIP" technology, has the highest degree of efficiency and at the same time reduces to a minimum the costs attributable to wear and servicing since there are no chains, cogwheels or additional bearings.

    Servicing is a joy

    Simply fold down the side wall to access the drum. No tools are required for exchange. The drum is lifted up with support arms and then removed using lifting gear or fork arms. Large flaps provide excellent accessibility to the whole of the engine compartment. The generator unit can be retracted or set up externally.

    Mobility the way you want it

    The Cribus 3800 is now available in semitrailer configuration. The axle at the rear puts more weight on the rear axle of the truck, making for stabler handling.

  • Electrical drive of all components (screen drum, conveyors) Advantage: Substantially lower energy consumption and maintenance costs than machines with hydraulic drive
  • Hybrid drive: Energy can be sourced from the grid or generated with the on-board diesel Generator Advantage: Up to 25% lower energy costs when running with the diesel generator, up to 75% lower energy costs when using grid power
  • New drum design with enlarged Diameter Advantage: Higher screening performance per m² screen area
  • Wheel Grip-drive System Advantage: Direct drive of screen drum without chain but highest efficiency
  • Drive for hopper belt at drum side Advantage : Lower power needed for material transport, lower wear for conveyor belt
